WHAT IS CATALYST?
Welcome to Ascend Campus Ministry’s Internship Program page. Whether you are a prospective or current intern, our prayer is that God will richly bless your ministry as you serve others in His name.
The vision is to help program participants develop their character, calling, and competency as they participate in the mission of Ascend.
BENEFITS OF THE PROGRAM
In participating in Catalyst:
· Interns will be provided with valuable ministry experience and leadership training.
· Interns will have a greater presence and responsibility in Ascend Movement.
· Interns will strengthen their resume if they choose to pursue vocational ministry.
· Interns will be equipped to invest in one of God’s highest callings – the precious lives of students.
THE COST & DURATION OF CATALYST
The Catalyst Internship runs for eight weeks, from June 20th, 2018 through August 10th, 2018. Interns are expected to be available and in the office 3 days a week on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Here is a sample schedule:
The cost for Catalyst is $150, and this covers books, materials, activity fees, and merchandise. Please note that interns are responsible for their meals and transportation to King of the Nations during work days throughout the internship.
To apply for Catalyst, fill out the application form at the bottom of this page. Prior to that, please click below and review our internship handbook. Following this, take the gifts assessment survey, and save your results for the application form.
Once the application has been received, the Campus Team will receive a copy of the materials for discussion and decision-making. If the application is accepted, the Campus Admin invites the applicant to join the Program via email. If the application is declined, the Campus admin will communicate the decision to the applicant.
Once an applicant has been invited to join the Program, the applicant must accept or decline the invitation by the deadline provided in the invitation email. If the invitation is accepted, a final email is sent to the prospective intern that details the internship start date, along with all other important information.
The final step in the application process is a meeting between the Campus Admin, Director, or Campus Leaders and the parental/guardian of the applicant.
