VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Within the youth and young adult ministry at Ascend we offer volunteer opportunities for you to serve and express yourself in a manner that produces discipline and growth. Every person who signs up to become an Ascend Volunteer will become a part of the team who works together to establish an efficient workflow for our services and events. We all work together to make sure everything is done in excellence. When you sign up to become a volunteer you will have the opportunity to become a vital part of what God is doing here at King of the Nations Church.

Ascend Volunteers:

Will automatically become members of the connection team, learn how to operate slides for services, and become a part of the action team (helps with set up and clean up after services and events).

Additional Volunteer Opportunities:

  • Youth Ministry- You will have the opportunity to become a member of the Youth team in order to help High School students grow in their relationship with Jesus.

  • Middle School Ministry- We have a ministry specifically for Middle School students who meet on Sunday’s. With training you can become a teacher that’ll guide the students in their understanding and knowledge of God.

  • Ministry Team- This team is led by our ministry directors Jonathan and Jazmin Santos, after being trained and developed you can become a member of the team who is available to pray and minister to people at our gatherings.

  • Administration Team-This team is led by our lead admin Kelly Martinez. Her role is to equip and develop your skills as an admin. We believe administrative assistants are the backbone to the ministry of Ascend. Without them nothing can be accomplished.

There are a few requirements in order to become a volunteer with Ascend these requirements need to be met in order for you to join the volunteer squad. The reason we put these requirements in place is because our desire is that you would become a part of our community and settle in by making KOTN your home before taking the step of serving. We care about your heart above any role or status. We are people who seek the Kingdom of God first and allow everything else to follow. (Matthew 6:33)

Volunteer Requirements:

  • Be a member of a life group

  • Be a member of King of the Nations for at least 6 months

  • Live a life of integrity

  • Have intimacy with Jesus by reading scripture and praying

  • Submit to authority
